The presenters consisted of five students from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG, India) who have been staying at Gifu University for approximately six months since October 2025 under the GEP inbound program; one IITG student who arrived in Japan in April 2025 as an exchange student in the Graduate School of Engineering and has participated in the GEP since October; and seven students enrolled in the Joint Degree Program (JDP) of the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology from AY 2025 (two from Gifu University and five from IITG).

On the day of the event, the session was moderated by Assistant Professor Himanshu Shekhar Jha of the Faculty of Engineering, who is originally from IITG. Each student delivered a presentation on their respective research topics. In addition to the research presentations, the Indian students who are scheduled to return home at the end of March also shared their experiences and memories of living in Japan. Following the presentations, questions were raised by the participants, leading to lively and productive discussions.
