ALL bullet trains stop at JR Nagoya Station, and “Hikari” trains and “Kodama” trains stop at JR Gifu-Hashima Station on Tokaido Shinkansen line.

Access from Chubu Centrair Airport
The Meitetsu μ-SKY Limited Express train (all seats are reserved) provides a direct service from Chubu Centrair Airport to Meitetsu Gifu station in approximately one hour. (The ticket costs 1,370 yen and extra 360 yen for reserved seatμticket.)
In addition, limited express trains (some seats are reserved) are available but transfers may be needed. For convenience, we recommend you to take the Meitetsu μ-SKY Limited Express train.
* Please note that there is no direct access by bus from Chubu Centrair Airport to central Gifu City.
* Please note that Japan Rail (JR) lines does not connect to Chubu Centrair Airport.

Access to Gifu University from both JR Gifu and Meitetsu stations is approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic congestion. (fare: approx. 2,500 yen) An additional 20 percent fare will be charged during late nights and early mornings (from 22:00 to 05:00).
