Since the conclusion of the agreement in 2018, the two universities have been actively engaged in promoting inbound and outbound programs for students and researchers.

In the meeting with Gifu University board members, President Agrupis shared her thoughts about the future bilateral relationship with President YOSHIDA Kazuhiro, Vice President KAMBARA Shinji (International Affairs, Information and (Deputy in Charge for) Evaluation), Executive Director KOYAMA Hiroyuki of Gifu University Organization for Promotion of Glocalization (GU-GLOCAL), and Professor HIRAMATSU Ken, Dean of the United Graduate School of Agricultural Science. They discussed the current state of exchange and interactions between students and the faculty, and challenges to address to reinforce the partnership between the two universities.

After the discussion, both presidents signed the agreement for renewal to continue the partnership for another five years.

The delegation was then invited to tour in and around the buildings of the United Graduate School of Agricultural Science, and the United Graduate School of Drug Discovery and Medical Information Sciences on campus. They held some talks with the school deans and the faculty members.

It is hoped that the latest MMSU delegation's visit to Gifu University can further activate the two universities' strong collaboration in a wide range of fields of research in the future.
