Gifu University and Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG, India) co-host the "Japan-NER Academia-Industry Technology Cooperation Symposium 2026 under IITG-Gifu U JDP platform" from Monday, March 2 through Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at IITG.

*This symposium is held as part of the program called, "Support for Creation of Inter-University Exchanges in the Indo-Pacific Region" of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan. Currently, the program is jointly implemented by Gifu University and IITG (GU's Joint Degree Programs oversea partner university).
