Gifu University International Students Enjoy a Trip to Tokoname in Aichi Prefecture December 3, 2025

On October 31, thirteen international students from Gifu University went on a trip to Tokoname in Aichi Prefecture. The first stop was the INAX Museums, where they spent an enriching time experiencing the charm of craftsmanship while learning about the history of beautiful tiles and ceramics.

Next, they strolled along the Pottery Footpath, walking through the historic streets of kiln towns and gaining a deeper appreciation of Tokoname's pottery culture. Accompanied by a guide from the Silver Human Resources Center, the students learned in detail about the region's history and highlights, making the trip even more meaningful.

Participants shared positive feedback such as: "The town was so beautiful." "I was able to make new friends among fellow international students," and "It was such a great experience that I want to visit Tokoname again." Some students are already looking forward to the next trip.
