‘Meet Up Chubu vol.39’ Event was co-organized by GU-GLOCAL, the Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Central Japan Economic Federation

On May 9, 2024, the 'Meet Up Chubu vol.39' Event was co-organized by Gifu University Organization for Promotion of Glocalization (GU-GLOCAL), the Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Central Japan Economic Federation. The event took place at Nagoya Innovator's Garage at Nagoya City in Aichi Prefecture. It was also conducted online.

The Glocalization Promotion Division of GU-GLOCAL supports glocal talent employment and fosters international collaboration between local communities and industries. As part of the "International Collaboration in Regions and Industries" initiative, GU-GLOCAL co-organized the collaboration project 'Meet Up Chubu vol.39' was organized in partnership with the Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Central Japan Economic Federation.

'Meet Up Chubu' is an open innovation platform established by the Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry. It aims to explore partnerships for joint research and implementation of new projects, as well as to facilitate the emergence of projects originating from regions through support for collaboration programs.

During the event, a total of 255 participants attended (60 in person at the venue and 195 online). The themes of the event were centered around carbon neutrality, biomass, and utilization of bamboo resources. Presentations included four development case studies and five support examples, providing valuable insights into ongoing development and support initiatives.

The Glocalization Promotion Division remains committed to supporting glocal talent employment and fostering international collaboration between local communities and industries.
