On Friday, May 29, 2026, Ms. Hyun-Joo Blanchard, Training & Development Manager, and Ms. Jane Brégier-John, Faculty of Medicine — Head of the Department of International and European Affairs from Université Paris-Saclay, visited Gifu University.
The two visited the School of Medicine and held discussions with Professor SAIKI Takuya, Assistant to the Dean and Director of the Medical Education Development Center (MEDC), Professor MATSUHASHI Nobuhisa of the Graduate School of Medicine, and Professor NOMURA Osamu of MEDC.
During the meeting, participants provided overviews of their respective institutions and exchanged information on medical education, research, and study abroad programs. This facilitated mutual understanding and an active exchange of opinions.
Gifu University concluded an academic exchange agreement with Université Paris-Saclay in December 2014, and it is expected that this partnership will further promote active exchanges of students and researchers.
