Gifu University and China Alumni Association General Meeting 2021 held

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, “Gifu University and China Alumni Association General Meeting 2021” was held at Gifu University Shanghai Office, Shanghai, China. A total of 19 people attended including Nagoya University graduates.

In April 2020, Gifu University and Nagoya University formed Japan’s first new academic entity called, “Tokai National Higher Education and Research System.”

With Dr. Yu Ping, Secretary-General of the Gifu University and China Alumni Association serving as a moderator, Chairman Nishimatsu Koei of the Association gave an opening speech. It was followed by the latest information on Gifu Prefecture by Director Assistant Dai Yiwen of the Gifu Prefecture Shanghai Office, and the introduction of members of Nagoya University by Vice Director Liu Lei of Nagoya University China Center for International Exchange.

After self-introduction by each participant, they started to share the information of their universities and were reunited with their former classmates after many years.
