For the first one month after my arrival in India, I had a hard time adjusting myself to life in India because food, people, classwork, research activities and the environment are all very different from Japan. However, as the days went by, I became more accustomed to accepting these differences. I am getting a knack of enjoying myself and have found places I love to visit. During my five-month studying at IITG, I made many close friends, and I know I will miss them very much after my returning to Japan. In addition to my classwork and research activities at IITG, I have gained a deep insight into India, the people of India and their unique cultures. I am also very fortunate to be able to experience things/events which were totally unknown to me before my coming to India. I believe that a strong friendship with the people at IITG and India will become an invaluable asset in my life.
